User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_4_11; en) AppleWebKit/525.28.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.2.3 Safari/525.28.3 Build Identifier: 0.1 Bespin The Canvas support check presents a layer informing of Safari 4 requirements and in so doing locks up the tabs of Safari 3.x browsers, users have to close the tab and cannot click on Cancel. OS X 10.4.11 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Bespin 2. Click on Get It Now 3. Click on Sign up Actual Results: Safari 3.x's tab freezes, nothing can be done, must close tab and start over! If similar code is used by Mozilla Labs or any other project it'll probably be the same result. Expected Results: Clicking on Cancel should return the user to the previous "layer" of the same tab. I'm submitting this to the wrong project as Bespin is missing from the list in Bugzilla. That's another bug I suppose...

Since this bug was filed, Bespin has gone through a reboot process wherein much code has changed. Since this bug was never confirmed, its existence may not have been verified. I ask the original reporter, or anyone else familiar with the bug, to confirm whether the bug continue to exist in Bespin's code today. You can pick up the latest code here: http://mozillalabs.com/bespin/2010/02/20/bespin-embedded-0-6-1-syntax-highlighting-rebooted/ [This is a mass comment. To filter bugmail, use the term 'bespin-old-unconfirmed'.]
ACETRANSITION The Skywriter project has merged with Ajax.org's Ace project (the full server part of which is their Cloud9 IDE project). Background on the change is here: http://mozillalabs.com/skywriter/2011/01/18/mozilla-skywriter-has-been-merged-into-ace/ The bugs in the Skywriter product are not necessarily relevant for Ace and quite a bit of code has changed. For that reason, I'm closing all of these bugs. Problems that you have with Ace should be filed in the Ace issue tracker at GitHub: https://github.com/ajaxorg/ace/issues
