Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042315 Firefox/3.0.10 Ubiquity/0.1.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042315 Firefox/3.0.10 Ubiquity/0.1.4

I save my password in the firefox's software security mechanism. When opening a previous saved session my password is asked over and over and over again, once for each page that involves a login item.
It is quite annoying to re-type my own password when I have 20+ tabs opened.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. save your passwords in the software security
2. open several authenticated sessions (i.e. gmail, flickr, bugzilla, etc)
3. quit firefox
4. re-open
Actual Results:
The password is asked for every tab that contains a login request. There is no way of skipping the step. The browser stays unresponsive until every pass

Expected Results:
I would expect a single request for the password to 'unlock' all tabs.

default install on mac osx; same behaviour seen on windows and linux.

Thanks. I tried searching with keywords such as 'software security' and 'tabs' but did not spot any. Other searches yield too many results. I'd suggest modifying the title of bug 348997 or add additional keywords.
