Details
The instructions for handling the -228 download error are currently on "Unable to install add-ons", but this page is very long and is handling too many different problems. This section should be expanded into a full article, and additional sources of this problem should be covered: firewalls blocking access to addons.mozilla.org and/or releases.mozilla.org, blocked redirection (from network.http.redirection-limit), and bad ipv6 configuration (releases.mozilla.org has an AAAA record).
Also, corporate/intranet blocking (not just firewall) and possibly disk space (I think that's also a 228 but I could be wrong)
Should we give the workaround for downloading the xpi on another computer/connection and installing manually?

zzxc: do we have a update on this or would you like someone else to take it?
