Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; es-ES; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042523 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.10
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; es-ES; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042523 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.10

If you have many bookmarks folders, with submenus, etc. The browser could finish apparently frozen (pressing esc for each submenu you can get out) if you are browsing through the bookmarks bar and in the background was loading a webpage that needs password, you use master password and you have not entered it.

This occurs if the bookmarks don't let you see the box that asks you for password, and everything but that box gets blocked.

I tried firefox portable 3.5 on linux, and now you can now clic on a bookmark to get out of the menu and enter the master password, but I think it's better to only unlock the content of the tab that is asking for password.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create folders and subfolders on the bookmarks bar (better if they don't let you see the webpages when you are navigating through the menus).
2. Create a master password and save a password.
3. Go to the webpage that needs the password.
4. Navigate through the bookmarks menu and wait the master password menu to pop-up.
5. If you can't see it you won't be able to clic on any interface element. You can only press esc to get out of the menus.
Actual Results:
The browser gets apparently hanged.

Expected Results:
There could be two better ways to act in that situation:

1. Block only html content (not xul).
2. Block only the content of the tab that needed the password.
This dialog is modal and should prevent asking for the master password a couple of times if open web pages starting a request in parallel.

Justin, I feel this is a dupe but cannot find another one.
