497012 - enable user to "follow" specific designers

Basic vision:

- user finds a designer they like and decides to "follow" their art. For example, user decides to follow Cynthia Rowley (http://www.getpersonas.com/gallery/Designer/CYNTHIAROWLEY). user will only be able to follow 1 designer at a time.

- user clicks "follow" (or a similar call to action) button. Spec will be brainstormed with Ryan on Wed 6/10 and added to bug.

- user is subscribed to a "random selection" (same functionality we have for categories) of that artist's personas.   

We brainstormed this idea before opening a bug, and I'm including some of the thoughts discussed:

CLIENT (from Myk): 

For the client, My Favorite Personas and This Designer's Personas are quite similar, in that they are a set of personas from which the client should periodically pick one at random to display. The one notable difference is that access to My Favorite Personas presumably requires authorization (unless we let everyone see everyone else's list of favorites).

I imagine the implementation for both could be that we add an additional event, something like SetPersonaCollection, that the gallery synthesizes when the user selects Pick Randomly From My Favorites or Follow This Designer.

The event would provide the URL of the data feed for the collection, which the client would then periodically refresh and from which it would periodically select a random persona to display.

Incidentally, this same approach could be used to implement the Random Persona From This Category functionality, which is currently only available in the client, on the server as well.


BACKEND (from Toby):

The backend work doesn't sound too substantial, though I would think this would be less useful than, say, favorite personas (which I'm almost done with, btw).

With the coming migration of getpersonas.com to AMO, only high priority bug
fixes/features will be added. wontfixing.
