On my computer I observe the following problem: STR: - Start Firefox up with a new profile - After a permanent decision as an answer to the Default Browser dialog, close and start Firefox again - As soon as Firefox is open (here within a second) click on Tools Result: it waits several seconds (about 8 seconds), then the color of the taskbar button changes to "unfocused" and also the focused state of the menu label disappears. When I click again, the menu rolls out instantly. Expected result: expand the menu instantly. Regression range: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=4897aa66c45c&tochange=1ea7f41ebd97 Bug 83056 is about menus. I'll make it blocking although I have no proof, just in case so it doesn't get lost, and is easy to undo.
this should be fixed by bug 498079's check-in.
