FF 3.0.10 is installed via a thinstalled app from thindownload.com
I downloaded the 3.5beta as of june 13 2009.
closed my thinstalled version and proceeded to install 3.5
I used all defaults except I did not want an icon on the desktop or in the start menu. Only the quick launch toolbar.
Well when 3.5 started, it had all my bookmarks and settings from the 3.0.10 thinstalled version.
The quick launch icon did not get installed and 3.5 is not in add/remove programs.
There you go. Cheers.

Firefox 3.0.10 install in c:\program files\Mozilla Firefox\ while the beta should be installed in c:\program files}Mozilla Firefox 3.5 beta\ unless you change the installation folder.
If you install F3.5beta in the same folder as 3.0.10 it will of course overwrite 3.0.10 but you have chosen to do that.
You can not run both Firefox versions at the same time and you have to close all Firefox windows to open the other version.
Where is the problem ?
Concur with Matthias, not a problem or bug IMO.

I too agree that it is not so much a bug. But this is the only place I can share my experience. What? Post a useless youtube video of what happened? Not.
Thanks guys. And gals.
