User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.2) Build Identifier: There are multiple .htaccess files which contain redundant redirects. These redundant redirects within the .htaccess files. These redirects add confusion when modifying these files. Below is a list of files containing redundant or bogus redirects which must be cleaned up: access/.htaccess access/samples/.htaccess products/mozilla1.x/download/.htaccess Reproducible: Always
This bug was initially mentioned in Bug 394232 but was split off into its own bug.
Franklin, if you can attach a patch for each of those .htaccess files, I can remove the redudnant redirects.
I went through the attachments above and did the following: /www/mozilla-org/html/access/unix/.htaccess -- I'm not seeing this file. Maybe i'm just missing it? /www/mozilla-org/html/access/samples/.htaccess -- Removed the duplicate entries. /www/mozilla-org/html/products/mozilla1.x/download/.htaccess -- The whole file has been removed as part of ongoing archiving work.
Closing this as fixed. As mentioned in comment #6, if I overlooked the /access/unix/.htaccess or if there are other redundant redirects feel free to reopen.
