Details
I suggest to add Google Translate as one of the default search engines. Search engines should be [Detect]->[Browser language] (if present) and [Detect]->English. See Mycroft engines: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/search-engines.html?name=google+translate+detect English is the web common language in fact, and a translator is essential for common people to understand pages written in foreign languages and to communicate with foreigner. Furthermore Google doesn't mark Google Translate as "beta" anymore.

There isn't enough demand for this engine.

(we will likely be looking to integrate some form of automatic translation tool into firefox, though - it just won't be via the search bar)
