History is corretly kept in history menu and in awesome bar but is not displayed in History sidebar nor in "Organize Bookmarks". I got this bug with my old profile. But I also got it with a new profile (guest account on Mac OSX.5) after surfing on a few sites, nothing is displayed in history. It may not be reproducible on all platforms or on all OS, however. But when it's present on a machine, it's persisting. It is _not_ a duplicate of bug 498048, because it was not solved with 3.5b99 nor RC1
is this on a ppc? or have you seen it on x86?
also, do you see any error in the Error Console?
No error in the console. I'm on a x86. I installed the RC1, by downloading it from mozilla, but it did not work (history bugged), so I reverted to 3.5b99 and I rechecked the updates, RC1 was reinstalled and now this bug is fixed. Don't know what happened.

could you check if you have any .corrupt file in profile folder?
also, looks like your bug could have been due to a bug we had in previous betas with french localization. Bug 491719 has been fixed after b4, so could be you confused b4 for current RC? (since the all-beta page points to b4)
Resolution: FIXED → DUPLICATE
Until yesterday I used 3.5b99, this bug was present, but I did not report it at the moment. This morning, I downloaded what I thought to be RC1 on mozilla servers (in fact, as you said, it was 3.5b4). It broke my profile: 30 .corrupt files and all bookmarks disappeared. I restored 3.5b99 and it was still broken. Then, I was proposed an auto update for RC1 (the correct one this time) and it was fixed. I could even reuse my old profile (after restoring the places.sqlite before all this mess) and my history is correctly handled. Sorry for this duplicate bug...
Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
