What is your flash version in Firefox? http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it is not 10.0.22.87 upgrade via the Adobe site.
I have confirmed this bug on iceweasel 3.0.14 on Debian squeeze (x64). I have also found a work-around. The bug: 1. install iceweasel, mplayer (from debian-multimedia.org), install flashplugin-nonfree 2. start iceweasel, go to youtube, etc, videos work fine. 3. log out of desktop 4. log into desktop, start iceweasel, goto youtube, no videos. ------------------------------------------------------------------ the cure: 1. login to desktop 2. as root, touch /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/* 3. start iceweasel, go to youtube, etc, videos work fine. 4. follow steps 2 and 3 each time. ------------------------------------------------------------------ My 'permanent' solution: 1. add user to sudoers list (with power to run touch, at least) 2. modify the desktop icon for iceweasel by modifying command as follows: sudo touch /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/*;/usr/bin/iceweasel ----------------------------------------------------------------- --Dave
