Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a3 / current v2.0b1pre?
(or Firefox v2.0.0.20 / v3.0.11 / v3.5(rc3) / current v3.6a1pre?)

Hardware: x86 → x86_64
Same thing with x86 Seamonkey on OpenSUSE 11.1.
hantte@FIVN10218NB:~> uname -a
Linux FIVN10218NB 2.6.27.23-0.1-default #1 SMP 2009-05-26 17:02:05 -0400 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Problem came when I upgraded kernel to current version. Opening an email crashes Seamonkey. Also opening web sites with Java script enabled.

Release build of SeaMonkey 1.1.x is 32bits build only.
Crash occurs with SeaMonkey 64bits build?
