Currently modules provides own mechanism for this like http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/toolkit/components/places/src/nsNavHistoryResult.cpp#68. Also macros from nsNavHistoryResult.cpp is used in accessible module (http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/accessible/src/base/nsDocAccessible.h).
