User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 When I write anything in Arabic in any text input field, it appears correctly at first but when I try to go back and change anything (add words, delete words, fix typos..etc), some parts of the words become disconnected (most Arabic characters in a word are connected to each other). What's worse is when I type an Arabic word in the middle of an English sentence, all the characters in the whole word become disconnected. It seems that this happens in all text fields, including the Firefox search bar. I tried safe mode and the issue still exists. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: METHOD I: 1. Type any Arabic sentence in any text field (even the search bar). 2. Go back and change anything in the middle of the words you typed (backspace, add text, anything) OR METHOD II: 1. Type any English sentence in any text field (even the search bar). 2. Between any 2 English words, type something in Arabic. Actual Results: METHOD I: Some characters of the Arabic words become incorrectly disconnected, and that changes as you type. METHOD II: All the characters of the Arabic word you type will be disconnected. Expected Results: The words should stay displayed correctly. Tried safe mode and it's the same thing. Using Firefox 3.5 RC3 on Windows 7 RC1.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090625 Minefield/3.6a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.21022) Confirming--this must be annoying. I reproduced it using the Character Map, but I don't think that should make a difference.

Thanks for confirming. I should also add that this does NOT affect the text displayed in Arabic pages, and after I submit the text it will be displayed correctly. It is annoying though, because the words don't look right it is difficult to go back and correct mistakes without getting really confused.
