Since form data is not encrypted with the master password and is always accessible in plain text there is no relation to a master password reset. 

Error also exists with latest Fx 3.5 RC 3
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5

Tested with clean profiles under Linux but should also affect other operating systems and platforms.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul
2. look for the words form data


Expected Results:  
form data should not be mentioned there

Just wondering how you even found a link to that?  Is this the same master password that prompts once per session before forms are auto-filled prior to logging in on some sites?

Yes, it's the same master password which is used to secure your login credentials.

Reporter, please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in a fresh profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Also update your plugins (flash, adobe reader, java, quicktime, silverlight, etc/) Go to the developer's website and download the latest version from there.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
