User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5

Move the menu item Check for Updates from the Help menu to the application menu (aka, Firefox menu).

Reproducible: Always

Pros:
1 In OS X, the application menu contains actions pertaining to the application as a whole (eg, About Firefox, Preferences, Quit) in contrast to other menu items which pertain to the application's function (ie, browsing the web). Check for Updates relates to the former and not the latter.

2 Other Mac-like applications follow this convention. Eg, iTunes, iPhoto, Transmission, TextMate, Adium, Acorn, Transmit.

3 Fx 3.6 aims to "Integrate with the look and feel of the host operating system" (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Namoroka)

4 When using the Help menu search (10.5 and later), the search will not find Check for Updates if under the Help menu.

5 Check for Updates is not relevant to Help, especially compared to other Help menu items like Firefox Help and Report broken web site.

Cons:
1 People don't like change.

2 Would differ from Windows and Linux builds.
