When we copy one tab from a firefox instance outside then new windows is opened. But when one tab from one instance of firefox is copied to another instance of firefox then in destination firefox, copied tab is not closed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Copy one tab from one firefox to another firefox.
2. Try to close copied tab in the first firefox.
3. It will not be closed.
Actual Results:
The copied tab is not closed.

Expected Results:
Copied tab should be closed.
Version: unspecified → 3.5 Branch
This should be wontfixed, checking if the tab was successfully transferred across multiple sessions of Firefox is either impossible or difficult.

Reporter, please test with Firefox 3.6. If you are still able to see such a behavior, start Firefox in Safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) to check if an extension is the cause of the mentioned issue.
This issue is resolved in firefox 3.6.
