If I try to create a new identy with equal host and user entries like already
present as an identy. Mozilla adds this identy invisibly to your identy.
You can:
1) Select multiple email adresses in mail composition, that´s great
You can´t:
1) Assign multiple attachment/organization/reply-to data, to these aliases, you
can only configure the first identy you´ve created
2) It´s also impossible to delete these aliases later, thus adding some aliases
(identies with existing host and user entries) will create the FROM select box
until you delete the old profile and create a new one
Summary: It should be possible to access these hidden identities somehow, to be
able to attach some different attachment and so on.
The only way currently to create multiple aliases for one account with
different attachments is to create new identies with non-existing host/user
settings, to let mozilla add them to the FROM field in COMPOSE, then you can
also assign different attachements/html etc. settings...

it still is very emarasssing (at least for people accepting wildcard emails like
*@everything-to-me.org) and in addition, I know many people who utilize aliases
and thus do *not* want to create a new ACCOUNT in mozilla each time they are
adding a simple alias (me included)
adding ui and mail3 (usability), proposing mozilla1.0
Summary: multiple aliases per identy not configurable → multiple aliases per identity not configurable
