The Attachment Manager in Windows XP SP2 (and later versions of Windows; see KB883260) warns users before opening certain files that the OS marks as "unsafe."  There is a group policy setting, "Do not preserve zone information in file attachments," that can be set to "Enabled," which tells Windows not to mark file attachments, thus preventing the warning when trying to open certain files.

With this setting enabled, files downloaded with Firefox 3.5 still have their zone information preserved.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the group policy setting "Do not preserve zone information in file attachments" to ENABLED
2. Download a file using Firefox
3. Double-click the downloaded file

Actual Results:  
You get a dialog box; a security warning asking if you want to execute the file.

Expected Results:  
The file should execute without interruption by the security warning from the Attachment Manager.

It is unclear if this is a Firefox problem or a Windows problem.  However, this problem did not occur with Firefox 3.0, suggesting that changes between 3.0 and 3.5 are potentially responsible for the new behavior.
