User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en; rv:1.8.1.22) Gecko/20090615 Camino/1.6.8 (like Firefox/2.0.0.22)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en; rv:1.8.1.22) Gecko/20090615 Camino/1.6.8 (like Firefox/2.0.0.22)
I clicked on the link for live travel updates, and the map began loading. It reached 100% on the progress indicator, but the map (it shows lines that are not working because of problems or engineering work) never appeared and Camino hung. Doesn't happen with Firefox 3.5 or Safari.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.tfl.gov.uk/
2. Click on "Live travel news"
Actual Results:
Camino hangs.
Expected Results:
Showed map with greyed out tube lines overlaid by colour where the line has a problem.

Do you see the same problems with Firefox 2.0.0.20 (which is more-or-less equivalent to 1.6.8)? This appears to work fine for me in 2.0b4pre builds.

Hi, yes I indeed see the same problem with Firefox 2.0.0.20.
Note that if you were to load the Flash object directly, there is no hang.
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/common/maps/swf/map-wrapper.swf#!flashvars#offset=now
Also this affects more then Mac.
Also seen on Windows, SeaMonkey 1.1.17, so may be a general Gecko 1.8.1 issue.

In that case, Core->General for further triage.
OS: Mac OS X → All
Product: Camino → Core
QA Contact: general → general
Hardware: PowerPC → All
Version: unspecified → 1.8 Branch
This no longer looks to be an issue /in Windows/ (even with SeaMonkey 1.1.17), so perhaps tfl.gov.uk made a change to their website?
Perhaps a Mac user could confirm?
(In my case, Flash 10.0 r32 remains unchanged during the period since my post, to date.)

Yes, I confirm that I cannot reproduce the issue on SeaMonkey 1.1.18 or Camino 1.6.10 on Mac OS X 10.5.8. I can easily view the map with both the browsers and Flash 10.0 r32.

Yeah, this looks like it's WORKSFORME with a Camino trunk nightly, too.
