User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 I tried all preference settings for startup pages and changed home page to various urls, still, after restart, Firefox shows only an empty page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change preference startup setting to "Show my home page" or "Show my windows ... from last time" and enter a valid url for home page. 2. Restart Firefox. Actual Results: An empty page is shown. Expected Results: Seeing my home page or the tabs visible when I closed Firefox the last time.

After testing this problem in safe mode, I conclude the reason for the problem is an add-on (Favicon Picker 2). Uninstalling the add-on solved the problem.
