"clear cache" is often in the top search terms, and we don't have anything that specifically addresses it.
Having to set the time range and uncheck everything else in Clear Recent History may be more tedious than using the Options window, so I think we should suggest tell users to use the Options window, then add a note that if you clear it often you can also use clear recent history (then link to the clear recent history article).
In addition, we should include a section on clearing cache automatically when firefox closes.
I wrote something quick up for this.
Does the Mac version have an OK button to get out of the Preferences > Privacy > Clear history on exit settings dialog?
Marking fixed for review.

Review notes:
- not a troubleshooting article
- "To clear other information" suggests that it doesn't include the cache. Changed wording.
- added padding on screenshots
- the two screenshots use two completely different OS themes. Fixed second screenshot.
- "when it is closed:" isn't quite clear what "it" is. Replaced with "when Firefox closes".
- "dropdown" uses a hyphen
- The label in Fx3.5 is "Clear history when Firefox closes" not "Clear history when Firefox exits"
- "click the Settings... button next to Clear history when Firefox exits. " is backwards UI directions. Fixed.
- screenshot of Clear History settings window is needed. Added one.
- "See Clear Recent History for more information on the other options."
-- link should be at the end of the sentence
-- "options" is Windows. On Mac/Linux it is "preferences". (I hate that difference too)
- yes, the mac version has an OK button
