I get this warning about 2000 times in an hour, while firefox is running.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run firefox from terminal
2.do stuff for an hour
3.look at terminal
Actual Results:
User says: "Oh ****, my terminal is full of thousands of lines of firefox warnings"

Expected Results:
User says: "Oh, 2 warnings, that was to be expected."

Same error with all versions I tried since 3.5 early beta...
Non-gnome window manager?
I'm using compiz(0.8.2) as wm, and have the same problem.

x86 Linux, Gnome desktop, Debian unstable+experimental.

Me too, and almost same environment.
These messages are also displayed when Firefox is closed.

I downgraded pango from 1.24.4-1 to 1.24.3-1.
This problem is not reproducible any more.
Pango may be related to this.
There was only one bug fix in pango 1.24.4, which is http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=586814. So it is probably related to the fix in that bug.
This is fixed in pango 1.24.5.
Hard to believe, I can reproduce our https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=513675 with these packages easily:

bradford:~$ rpm -qa \*firefox\* \*thunderbird\* \*pango\* \*xulrunner\* \*cairo\*
cairo-1.8.8-1.fc11.x86_64
pango-1.24.5-1.fc11.x86_64

pycairo-1.8.2-2.fc11.x86_64
bradford:~$
I can confirm this is fixed with pango 1.24.5.
My firefox stopped spamming too...

[2009-07-19 16:24] upgraded pycairo (1.8.4-1 -> 1.8.6-1)

(Me know nothing - going to try and downgrade if noone figures it out while I'm unable to reboot anyway...)
