STR :
   1. Tools -> Message filters ..
   2. Create a filter
   3. Check for "From" in "Mac OSX Address Book"
   4. choose an email address you know matches messages in the folder you want to filter.
   5. Choose an action

Nothing happens

on the same configuration testing from contains (part of an email) works.

Nothing in the Filter log. Nothing in the Console.log. My OS X address book only contains one email address.

Wondering if filters is the right place or if Os-integration would have been better.
I've just tried a few different ways of doing this and it WFM on:

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1pre) Gecko/20090719 Lightning/1.0pre Shredder/3.0b4pre
I still have the issue. Maybe it's also related to the fact that my only email in my address book is not the primary identity for the account. I was trying to label them as important.
Whiteboard: [show mark at all-hands]
It works for me on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2pre) Gecko/20100302 Lanikai/3.1b1
anything further on this?
Severity: normal → S3
