Jack, and crash ids for us?
Sorry. I'm new to this and didn't know what to do with previous emails from Mozilla. As far as crash ids, I don't know what that means. The Firefox window simply disappears at times when I minimize it. I have to open Firefox again with a new window. Then when I log my computer out, the original window that disappeared reappears on my tray. This happens maybe once or twice a week. Don't know what causes it.
It sounds like this is not a crash, but rather Firefox ending up in a weird place (not showing in the taskbar when minimized).
I'm not sure it's the same problem I get, but just in case - Sometimes Firefox disappears from the taskbar, but it can still be found on the active applications menu by using Alt-Tab. selecting FF from the menu brings it back as the last item on the taskbar. This is an intermittent bug.
