At least on Windows and Linux there exist alternate cut, copy and paste keys, which are Shift+Del, Ctrl+Del and Shift+Ins. However the latter does not work in the browser since we map it to "open link in opposite of default". This affects editable regions such as the MDC editor.

One option is to change the key to one that doesn't conflict.
