I think we have the ability to really make a difference in how useful the forums are by integrating tags.  The most common use of tags in articles is so "misspellings" (plugins vs plug-ins, bookmarks vs favorites) are searchable.  We should have the same capability in the forums.

This will need some serious UI/UX/UE review so that tagging isn't just another burden we put on contributors when they're trying to answer questions.

This is lower priority just because it's a big task and I'd rather fix 5 smaller forumUX bugs than implement this new feature.  That said... if you have freetime, this would be awesome in 1.4
This is a nice to have and we don't have UI - pushing.
