Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 (20090605) Lightning 0.9
The only way to get these events to load to my Google Calendar via Provider is to create a new event. Since I have lots of events via invitation, this doesn't make sense. Am I missing something?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Receive event invitation email from Mac user with attachment such as iCal-20090720-100628.ics
2. Accept the event invitation
3. Event is loaded into local Lightning calendar and into my Google (provder) Calendar
4. Search my google calendar online - no event.
5. manually create the same event on my Lightning calendar and within moments it appears on my google calendar.
Actual Results:
Accepted events that load into my Lightning calendar don't load to my Google calendar despite Provider being set up (and is working for other events).
Expected Results:
I expect all of the events I have on my Lightning calendar (set up with Provider) to be on my google calendar.
All events on my lightning calendar should appear on the linked google calendar.

From the extensions description <https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addons/versions/4631#version-0.5.2>:
> Note that it is not possible to accept an invitation received via
> email onto your Google Calendar. To correctly use invitations, please
> be sure to enable the "Automatically add invitations to my calendar"
> option, invitations will then automatically be shown in the
> application's invitation manager or in the calendar views.

The Google Calendar should not even show up in the list of calendars to accept to, unless you've turned on (unsupported!) hidden options.
Due to some limiations on Google's side, I have decided to turn off accepting invitations in general. Be careful what you do, putting an invitation in a Google Calendar can cause all attendees to be notified of the event from Google. While this is ok if you are the organizer, if you are just accepting an event (i.e from a company account), it could get embarrassing.
