When you hit (Shift+)Ctrl+Tab to switch to the next or previous tab the Ctrl-Tab panel is shown for a split second. That looks ugly and is disturbing. A nice solution would be to add a small delay like 200ms so the user has to hold down the ctrl key for this amount of time.

Basically a duplicate of bug 498272. The delay is 100ms currently.

Is your build up-to-date? Does it even have the new UI?

Thanks for the note. Bug 353804 was playing again with me.
Now with a recent build the Ctrl-Tab ui is shown much less often but sometimes I can still trigger it accidentally by switching through the tabs. Seems like 100ms are a bit too less? I don't think that I have slow fingers...

100ms feels ok to me. Please reopen bug 498272 if you really think it's too short.
