Using build 2000-08-28 on win98, mac and linux, when I import my .ldif file that
contains (3) lists all the cards in these lists are not listed in the list.
I haven't figured out what the criteria is for a card not to show up on the
list, but I will investigate more to find out.

So far this is what I know:
My list titled "Family Dinner" has 10 cards, but none of them showed up.
My list titled "Family Net" has 7 cards, 2 of them showed up.
My list titles "Taboo" has 6 cards, all of them showed up.

1. In the meantime have at least 3 lists in your 4.7 address book with a number
count of cards as mentioned above.
2. Export the list while in 4.7 to an .ldif file
3. Import the list in to Seamonkey.

Check to see if all the cards show up in the (3) lists.

Well here's my latest try: Only 3 out of 5 were created.

List "Jackson": should have 7 names, has 23.
List "lboat": accurate.
List "Skiers": missing.
List "Boaters": missing.
List "ncplot": accurate.

Used build 2001121506.

For me, this is a crippling bug which prevents my migration to Mozilla.

Mozilla 0.9.8 does not import address books with any accuracy. It cannot
even import small address books without dropping several lists entirely and mis-
naming other lists. For example, list A will end up populated by the email
addresses that were on list B in the original Netscape 4.79 addressbook.

This may be same bug as 58206 and 113780.

I think this is a dup of bug 62084 (which fixes a few ldif import problems).
Please reopen it if you don't agree.
