Elsa doesn't parse the following:

  template <class T> class A;

  template <class T = int> class A {
  public:
    void foo();
  };

  A<> thisWorks; // with "-tr permissive" option

  template <class T>
  void A<T>::foo() { }

  // error: no argument supplied for template parameter `T' of template `A<T>'
  // error: there is no type called `A<>'
  A<> thisDontWork;


GCC compiles this fine. Elsa will parse it if the forward declaration of A is removed or the default argument is given in the forward declaration instead of the definition.

1. Run "ccparse -tr permissive" on the code given above

Parse error

At this time, Mozilla is no longer pursuing the use of Elsa and Pork for static analysis and rewriting. Therefore, there are no longer any intentions to fix or support any outstanding bugs in these tools.
