Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060308 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.11
Build Identifier:

The spell checker thinks dieing is a word. Dieing isn't a word. Dieing needs to be removed from the English dictionaries (US, GB, CDN).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type dieing.
Actual Results:
Spell checker does nothing.

Expected Results:
Spell checker should underline it with red line and ideally give the option to change to dying.
This is not an en-GB bug, in fact, en-GB doesn't even ship a dictionary.

Might be worth checking for an upstream bug at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=10079&atid=1014602.

Thanks for the reply. Using aspell 0.60.6-1 and aspell-en 6.0-0-5.1.

I still get the error with Firefox 3.5; but not in Google Chrome.
