506851 - Firefox froze after a uploading a photo immediately following Firefox update instigated by user (me) via browser help tab.

Was uploading a profile photo right after I restarted when I checked for Firefox update from Firefox's browser tool bar I have on additional tool-bars by my own design.

Site did wish to access my email account, Google blocked by my instruction.

To be accurate, I had to terminate Firefox in the processes list via the task manager. No window, no response running at 175,000 K of memory usage (I have 2.5 GB RAM).

Currently running at 110,380.

Firefox became Ice-sloth.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Went back to site to upload to same page using Ctrl+Shift+T.
2. Uploaded photo successfully.
3. Permitting that site access to address book is not an option.
Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
Unknown with new builds and first occurrence.

Previous build hasn't crashed once, even when Windows Explorer does (not your issue, but more common.)

Take note Explorer use is usually highest, followed by McAfee.
Both plus FF are highlighted.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
