Slow page loading in version .13: slower then in the previous version

Hello,
I just upgraded to Firefox 3.0.13 and having a problem loading webpages.The data doesn't seem to stop loading. The mouse is in the sand clock mode. The status bar says this:
Transferring data from b.staticlak.fbcdn.net

Or this:
Read i.ytimng.com

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I tried www.youtube.com/oksanakoval


After first 10 or so attempts the page finally loaded and appeared to work faster. But it took a lot of persistance. Though it is nearly impossible to load the videos.

I also experience slow loading when I tried:
www.facebook.com
www.watchdogsblog.com
www.incea.org
http://news.google.com
mail.yahoo.com

Result: sand clock + transferring data taking minutex vs. seconds in the previous version of Firefox.

I restarted my computer (twice), it didn't help.

Actual Results:  
Result: sand clock + transferring data taking minutex vs. seconds in the previous version of Firefox. The page eventually loads, but most users would not be so patient to wait that long..

Expected Results:  
Load page fast: within 3 seconds

Please try:

- Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension/theme problems
- a new profile
- a reinstall in a new empty folder

Hi, I tried Firefox safe mode - same results..

I also tried IE - it is performing slightly better, but still unable to read my emails on mail.yahoo.com... I am using my friend's computer to update this thread, Firefox is working fine on his computer (same Internet connection). He's got 3.0.12 version.

At this point, I cannot even open my mail on my laptop, let along download another version of firefox.

Oksana, please create a new profile, and try to use it to surf. You are probably better off using Mozilla support, as this sounds like something else is going wrong, not a Firefox bug.

This is a mass search for Firefox General bugs filed against version 3.0 that are UNCO and have not been changed for 200 days.

Reporter, please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or alter. Firefox 3.0 is no longer supported and is no longer receiving updates. After you update, please create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/kb/managing+profiles, and test to see if your bug still exists. If you still the bug, then please post a comment with the version you tested against, and the problem. If the issue is no longer there, please set the RESOLUTION to  RESOLVED, WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
