Details

Currently, FF can only save one session, for the last window with multiple tabs. I have often missed a feature to save and restore a running session including history for any open FF window. This is not a duplicate of Bug 416040 - Save all tabs for offline use (store whole session). That bug wants to save a complete offline file cache of the session as a file. This bug might be a dupe, but I couldn't find anything.
A number of extensions provide this capability, and we've explicitly left that functionality to the extension space.
