User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 Since upgrading to 3.5, I'm asked if the I want to save Tabs & Windows, which I click Save. When restarting, the session is not restored to its previous state. I get one window with one tab to the Mozilla start page . . . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start a session with multiple windows & tabs 2.Quit Firefox 3.Relaunch Firefox Actual Results: Lost all windows & tabs Expected Results: The number of windows & tabs would launch with corresponding sites for each window/tab.
1) In the Tools menu, hit Options, select Privacy, is Firefox set to remember history? 2) On that same tab, is Firefox set to clear history on exit? These settings may conflict with session restore, if this is not the issue, please try a new profile ( http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile ) and try safe mode ( http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode ).
Version: unspecified → 3.5 Branch
That cleared the problem. FYI: in the Mac version, Privacy is found in the Foxfire Preferences. Thank you.
