512334 - install/update of the latest ver of mozilla keeps prompting me to install after I had installed it

everytime I open my Mozilla net browser I am prompted to install/update to the new version of Mozilla even though I already have done this action several times

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open Firefox(Mozilla browser)

3.
Actual Results:  
the installer will pop up and ask if I want to install the update


not continually ask to update/install the new Firefox version after it has already been installed

Well, your UA says you are using 3.0.11. What is it prompting you to update to?

Please attach the last-update.log after this happens along with the updates.xml
file. If you've installed under program files these will typically be located
under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\ and the last-update.log
is inside the updates directory.

The updates.xml may also be located in your installation directory and the
last-update.log is inside the updates directory.

Please attach the last-update.log along with updates.xml as mentioned in Comment 2. Without that file we won't be able to go any further.
