Hi, not sure if this is a bug, but we maybe should get independent from loading images from other mozilla sites. I noticed this on the Persona Section of BYOB, the "Persona-logo" is loaded from AMO.

When the Connection to AMO is lost or even slow it happen that the image take a long time to load (see screenshot). So maybe we should host this image then on our own hosting platform ?

I can look into caching the images, probably post-launch.  But, BYOB depends on the AMO and Personas APIs for addon XPIs, images, descriptions, etc - so if either of those sites goes down, BYOB is probably in trouble beyond loading images.

I think this one is actually fixed, except for the first run page.  But, that page will someday be replaced by integration with the real thing, so probably not worth fixing
