From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.12-20 i686; en-US; m17) Gecko/20000807 BuildID: 2000080712 When downloading something from this site, it will show you some page, which refreshes to download a file. The file is on the same server, but on a different port. Mozilla tries to download it from the standard HTTP port (80) though. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to www.mame.dk 2.Click on a game 3.Click on one of the downloadable items (below) 4.Some items have a click through page, click through it. You will now see a page that sais that you're about to download the file. It will refresh, and it will show you a page that sais "file not found" because Mozilla tried to download the file from the wrong port. Actual Results: I couldn't download files. Expected Results: Download the file from the port as mentioned in the HTML.
After selecting a game, being redirected to the new page, I get a 404 error as follows: Client Error: 404 Not Found Its propably your own fault, or something bad happend to your request while it travelled all the way trough Internet. Try reload the page a couple of times, you could even try to wait a couple of minutes to see if the problem goes away by itself. If the problem persist please tell mameadm@chaos.dk that you tried to access http://www.mame.dk/f7d69e4e1178595a7bb799b43d34d109/968109902/cur/m4.zip with a Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; m18) Gecko/20000904 browser After selecting the filename again from the 404 page, I get the "Save File As" download dialogue, and the download proceeds as normal.
Forgot to give my platform and build ID: Win32, 2000090408.
Well after some clicking I get a download window too, but the resulting file is empty, which makes sense, because the page sais: You tried to download the file: www.mame.dk/number/cur/rom.zip While the file is on: www.mame.dk:443/number/cur/rom.zip . As the page does not mention this address because it wasn't asked for, it seems impossible to me for Mozilla to find the file (without doing some serious cheating).
I believe this is a duplicate of 51237, and am marking as such. tinus_mozilla, if you feel otherwise, please post here and we can consider re-opening it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 51237 ***

I don't see the problem anymore, but I don't see the problem in bug 51237 either. Might be solved for this OS only.
