The personal-folder icons in communicator/skin/bookmarks are still the ones from
the old Modern Skin. All of communicator/skin/directory looks like it hasn't
been changed since Modern. All the Icons are the modern ones.
There is a note in communicator/skin/bookmarks/bookmarks.css about needing
different icons for file system objects.

The Icons are the personal-folder icons used in Netscape 4.x
The file folder icons are for the Win skin and were lifted from a screen shot.
The file icon is Win's icon for a file associted with Mozilla.
The directory.css is a pared down version. The 3 selected icons aren't needed
with the file folder icons.
I will add the file and file folder icons for Linux later. Someone with a Mac
will have to do the Mac Set because I don't have the slightest idea what they
look like.

w/themes... is this still something you're seeing in recent builds?

They are still there. The same Icons that the old Modern (now Blue) skin used.

This bug is NOT a duplicate of bug 41079. I filed that bug to deal with images
that were present in the chrome files but not used by the css. The images this
bug refers to ARE used. I filed this bug about the style of the images, they
were created for the old modern theme (Now Blue) and look out of place in the
classic theme. The images I attached to this bug mimic native directory images
for the windows platform, and Gnome images for the Unix platform. Mac icons are
needed but I have no idea what they look like.

The 4.x style personal folder icons were checked in by Ben Goodger as part of
his Bookmarks Window Updates on 02/04/2001 23:45.
Blue style directory icons are still present, updating Summary.
Summary: Classic skin has Blue Directory and Personal-folder icons → Classic skin has Blue Directory icons
