using the freshmeat feed http://unix.freshmeat.net/index.atom, many entries are duplicated and multiplicated several times, up to six and possibly more. examining duplicate entry source it is identical, including the id.
this seems to happen after retrieving the feed for some time, like a day or two.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. subscribe to the supplied feed
2. wait for a day or few
3. check the message list
Actual Results:
many entries have multiple copies, and feed reader is almost unusable after having accumulated dupes for several days.
Expected Results:
each entry has single copy only
