I am using the "Bookmarks" Toolbar. It has several bookmarks, then a Flexible space and the search bar at the far right. The search bar is normally only a couple of inches long. However, when I restart Firefox, it minimizes the bookmarks and expands the searchbar all the way accross the toolbar.
If I go into the “Customize” window, make NO changes and click “DONE”, it goes back to the way I set it up originally. There must be something in the initialization that is doing this. I have had it setup this way for a very long time and never had a problem until the latest update.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enable Bookmarks toolbar
2.Customize the Bookmarks toolbar by adding a flexible space to the right of the bookmarks. Then add the search bar to the right of the flexible space.
3.This should show 10-12 bookmarks(depends on length of bookmark names), then the search bar to the right. The searchbar should only be a couple of inches long.
4.Close FireFox and relaunch. It will minimize the bookmarks and expand the searchbar across the entire toolbar.
5.Right-click on the bookmarks toolbar and select "Customize". Don't make any changes, but simply click on "Done". It will put the bookmarks back the way they are supposed to be.
It happens to me too and I do the same with Customize and Done.
I think it changed from Firefox 3.4 when it was ok.
Hope you can do something in the next update :)
