514480 - upon first launch on my n810, the softkb won't display when focused on an input field

upon first launch of Fennec on my n810, it displays in beautiful full screen mode and is very responsive.  If I click in the url bar, I expect the softkb to display as well as the awesomebar.

What happens is the awesomebar displays and I have to open the hard keyboard to make it work.  Alternatively I can tap out of the url bar and back in and it will work.

This is a regression from b3

yes on 1.9.2 20090923 nightly build!  Tested on my n810

Bring back the blur hack. We removed it in bug 513631, but seems we were a bit hasty.

Weird thing is, we are not toggling readonly attributes anymore. I verified that this fixes the problem on n810 and n900.

We are changing the .defaultValue and the .value of the editbox. Maybe that is causing the problem.

Oh the original bug we pinned this on was bug 488420

1. Open up Fennec
2. Click on the url bar

...no softkb on my n810. If I click out then back into the awesome bar, I get the softkb.

I still don't see this on build:

It felt weird that this was working for mark, so I reinstalled fennec and rebooted the device. It works now.

verified FIXED On build:

Tomorrow is the Testday event for the latest beta of Fennec 1.0!  We're going to be running smoketests, testing website compatibility, UI changes, triaging mobile UNCONFIRMED/RESOLVED bugs, adding testcases to litmus and other things on all available desktop/mobile platforms!
