Before this is done, how long would this take (including time until you have time to do so) ? We would need this to happen as long before Thunderbird's b4 (scheduled 22nd) as possible, so gozer has time to set up buildbot and friends.

Do you want to use a build image or just a clean install?

We have a reference build 10.5.2 image.
(In reply to comment #2) > We have a reference build 10.5.2 image. Yes, that would be the one. Phong, could you give me an idea of when you could get this done, so we can see if it's doable before I get all tied up in b4 fun? For instance, could that system be re-imaged this week ?
I can re-image it this week.
(In reply to comment #4) > I can re-image it this week. In that case, please make it so. I've archived the important bits from /Users/calbld, so it should be ready to go. Phong, I'll assume that refimage comes with the 'cltbld' builder account ?
the ref image has the cltbld account. would you like me to add or rename the account to something else?
(In reply to comment #6) > the ref image has the cltbld account. would you like me to add or rename the > account to something else? No need, I can take it from there, assuming I can get in the cltbld account and get sudo, I can fix things from there. Thanks!
According to inventory, this is PPC xserve. The ref image is for Intel. I have to see if this will work.
Leopard is ppc/intel friendly, should work in theory. Of course, depending on the imaging technology you are using, the image itself might not migrate correctly across architectures... Could there be some other Leopard PPC xserves in the build farm this could be imaged from, if the refplatform image doesn't work ?
re-imaged with 10.5.2 build ref image.
