I've learned from bug #336207 comment #4 that specifying "foo.com" when using the preferences pane to allow/block cookies for a site offers an implicit wildcard for all *.foo.com subdomains.
This feature should be accessible from the most commonly interacted with cookie allow/block mechanism: the pop-up confirmation dialog.
When the popup appears for say, foo.bar.2o7.net, I should be able to specify that I want to allow/block all cookies to *.2o7.net.
Reproducible: Always
Is there some reason that cookie management does not allow for wildcarding hosts or IP blocks?
I have literally dozens of blocks from the same domain that seems to be creating multiple hostsnames such as e-1kjwj3nh34h5nshet4.stats.esomniture.com
I'd really love to have just 1 entry such as *esomniture.com to block any and all cookies from whatever hosts that domain creates.
