Details
this works at first, but breaks shortly thereafter.
steps to repro:
1) launch fennec
2) browse to a page that isn't bookmarks (say yahoo.com)
3) once loaded, click star to bookmark
4) tap in the page to dismiss the edit/remove popup
5) tap the yellow star to see edit/remove popup
6) tap in the page to dismiss the popup
7) tap the yellow star again.
observe that there is no edit/remove functionality anymore!

ok, I have done this 5 times in a row, both with fresh launches of fennec as well as multiple times on the same launch.
this is on a trunk nightly build of fennec 20090910 on my n810.
I have found now that I get this error after step 5. One thing that might make this easier to see is to use a fresh profile (delete /home/user/.mozilla/*) and start with only the default set of bookmarks.

I see this in the jsconsole while reproducing this problem. This is not seen on desktop builds, only n810. Re-verified with 20090911 trunk nightly build.
