User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_1; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.3 Safari/531.9 Build Identifier: I'm not sure if it is a Snow Leopard or Safari 4 in general thing, but the "Hidden World" method for copy and paste does not work for Safari any longer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select some text in Bespin. 2. CMD-C. 3. Go to a non-Bespin text box. 4. CMD-V. Actual Results: Whatever was on the clipboard (not from Bespin) is pasted. Expected Results: The text copied from Bespin should be pasted. The Hidden World method in general doesn't seem to work. I managed to make copy work by using a hidden IFrame, but paste wouldn't work. I finally fixed it by using DOMEvents, at least to the extent that it now works on Safari 4 for Mac, Firefox for Mac, and the latest WebKit Nightly. I will be attempting to add the patch to this bug.
Attached patch Clipboard Fix — — Splinter Review
This fixes the clipboard in Safari.
I'm still not sure how we are supposed to do pull requests. I am submitting this here because that is the vague impression I get of what we are supposed to do… but honestly, I have no idea. I'm posting to bespin-core.
