User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) It seems to be connected with the Flash plugin. When I disabled the flash plugin the problem didn't return. My version of flash plugin is 10.0 r32 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open several tabs 2.Go from one tab to another 3. When browser thru tabs contents of at least one of the tabs disappears Actual Results: Content area of tab (where the web page should appear) is blank
I encountered same problem with Vista Home Premium. Same fix. Note that you should look for Shockwave Flash in your plugins to disable.
Hi, The problem occurs with the installation of Real Player. I faced the same problem. I uninstalled both Real Player and Flash plugins. Then installed a fresh Flash plugin. The problem is solved for me. So, it looks like, Flash player alone is not the reason for the bug. The mixture of Flash and Real causes some bug, which I do not know what is it. If anyone has a solution other than uninstalling one, that would be great! Thanks
Hi, I don't have the Real Player plugin installed but I still have the problem. So I don't think its related to Real Player at all. However, its true that by disabling the Shockwave Flash 10.0 r32 the 'blank page' problem is gone. I might try to unsintall / reinstall Shockwave Flash 10.0 r32 ... Cheers.
I've got this same issue...first tab page goes blank when I switch to other tabs...using FF 3.0.15 with Flash and Real Player SP. Disabling Flash eliminates the issue by makes FF pretty useless. I use RP a lot for downloading video so want to stick with earlier FF version for now. Running Vista Home Premium 32. Uninstalled and reinstalled Flash 10.0 r32 to no avail. Then uninstalled again and installed Flash Beta plug-in 10.1 d51, which does not fix the issue either.
Same problem, but not with all tabs. It only started a couple of weeks ago. Seems like some update has interfered with a working system. Certain sites in particular always show up blank when I go back to the tab. Refresh brings back the content. When I disable Flash, there's no problem with blank pages, but of course a lot of Web pages don't work. Disabling RealPlayer and reenabling Flash made no difference. Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 (64 bit) Firefox 3.5.5 Flash 10.0.32.18 Two members of my household have now reverted to IE and I am tempted (slightly) to join them.
