Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_1; de-de) AppleWebKit/531.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.3 Safari/531.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3 If an url has some special chars like the one in this tweet (http://twitter.com/daringfireball/status/403462158), Firefox _has no problems_ with open it. Also I can copy/paste in into the location bar.. works. But after i clicked on the url outside of the browser -- e.g. a Twitter client -- Firefox said handling a unsolved problem, huh? Camino has the same problem, but all WebKits (Safari, Google Chrome & Chromium) not. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://twitter.com/daringfireball/status/4034621583 and copy url. 2. Use a possibility of clicking on the url outside of any browser so that the system have to use it default one. Alternate ways are welcome. Actual Results: Der Server unter www.%e2%9c%aadf.ws konnte nicht gefunden werden. Expected Results: http://✪df.ws/ds1 If it would help: Camino (Mozilla engine) reports the same (failure).
Steps to Reproduce: I changed the default browser settings in Safari (Mac OS X) and clicked on that link in my twitter client (Nambu, private beta.. the cause why I found this bug).
