It often happens that you have FF in full screen mode, and you want to exit. Many online videos have moved to the standard of using escape to exit full screen mode, so users (like myself) are becoming used to pressing that key.
Adding a shortcut to exit full screen mode when escape is pressed would be very helpful.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on full-screen mode
2. Try pressing escape.
Actual Results:
Nuthin'
Expected Results:
Somethin'

One follow up comment - I forgot that escape also tells the browser to stop loading. Not sure how to resolve that, but it would be useful if we could.

That's exactly the reason why a simple esc wouldn't work.

Ah, indeed. Apologies for not being able to find that bug - the bugzilla search engine fails me time and again.
